Our go to place, Love the bar area with all the Automobila. The services is great along with large portion of food and drinks. We go a lot and always please with the experience.
What can I say! The food is amazing. The service is amazing and drinks are the best. I haven’t ate one thing here I didn’t like. I’ve gone to the OG San Marcos several times before this location opened and it has those reminders of Sonoran food I’ve ate in southern Arizona.
Awesome place! I didn't even know there was a San Marcos in Newcastle until recently. But it never disappoints! Very clean, great food, great service. Great place to go. I will definitely recommend this place.
I’ve been going to San Marcos ever since it opened its doors and we went on opening day as well! I’ve been waiting for a good Mexican food restaurant for a while to hit this area and I’m so happy they decided to have a location here. The owner is always so friendly and seem to work everyday!! Interacting with his guests and giving away gifts on Cinco de Mayo. Loved the gift I got and still use it today. Food is phenomenal, nothing else I gotta say about it, atmosphere isn’t your tradition Mexican restaurant but I know why the owner choose the decor he did, and the representation of it is specifically for the Newcastle Racers and a mix of auto move and Mexican tradition. I will always be coming back here to eat, and the staff are so friendly I wish I could go there every day.
I had a great experience at this restaurant! I started with the perfect margarita and a watermelon shot, which was so delicious I had to order another one to help finish off my margarita. My server was fantastic, making the experience even better. For my meal, I ordered the combination fajitas, and let me tell you, it did not disappoint. Usually, when I dine at Mexican restaurants, the beans and rice can be bland or stale, and the pico and guacamole aren’t anything special. But at this restaurant, everything they brought to the table was fresh, hot, and incredibly tasty! The flour tortillas even tasted homemade. The chips were homemade as well, so crunchy and delicious. I'll definitely be returning, even if it's just for the tasty margaritas and watermelon shot!
First time I was there. We were a group of 15. When we arrives the table was set up and ready to go. Staff was very efficient and friendly. Service was great. Food was excellent and very tasty. Portions were large, I took half of mine home for lunch the next day. I highly recomend.
We ate here for the first time and immediately felt at home. The restaurant is light and airy. We were greeted quickly and led to a table immediately. The wait staff was super friendly and talked through menu options. I ordered the fajita beef and chicken fried rice. It was delicious. The sopapillas are delicious, too. If you’re in Newcastle and are craving Mexican food, San Marco’s is the place to go.
